I <3 Rain

Rain is free.
In the moments before it rains, the air is electric.
In the moments after it rains, the air is full of the smell of life.

It was Tera's 21st Birthday yesterday and we spent an evening at the Macaroni Gril.
As we were exiting, the rain started to pour down and there was this wonderful moment were we were running around the parking lot in the rain.

Contrastingly, Angela had the most unfortunately analogical event happen last night.
We were discussing running around in the rain and she said, "I can't. I have work to do"

What a perfect symbol of growing up.
She knows she loves rain. We both know that it would be fun to run around.
But, she decided that she had to finish her statistics homework before she could run around in the rain.
By the time she finished, it had stopped raining.

Bloody work.
Next time, take a break from work to go run around in the rain.
You'll feel better afterwards. Work can be done in half in ahour. It doesn't rain every day.
Truely,
~Kigs

I think part of growing up is learning that you don't.

I miss the days of jumping in gigantic puddles in the rain wearing in little green frog wellies, er, boots that is (I think I'll always remember them as wellies). They were so awesome. I wish I still had them, not that I'd fit in them. Why does growing up have to be so boring and depressing? ):
