The colors duke, the colors!
Jan. 4th, 2005 02:16 amI was very lazy today.
After sitting on my butt cycling between lj, deviant art, my email, and some rp forums for (approx.) 5 hours, I suddenly became restless. Bored out of my mind, I scrambled around the household wildly in search of something to do.
I cooked some speghetti, doodled, read a book, and then watched a movie. Though, like all afflictions of cabin fever, I eventually came back to my computer deflated and defeated. Determined not to sit on my butt for the entire day and get absolutely nothing acomplished, I turned on this week's "2 sense" and looked through my old doodles.
After meandering aimlessly through files, I saw an odd icon on my desktop. I'd forgotten that Basalt helped me aquire, "Open Canvas" about a month and a half ago. So, like a good little curious bird, I popped open the program and fiddled around with it for a while. After while, this came out. Then, for good measure, I colored the pineapple from earlier.
I'm rather proud of it, considering it's my first attempt at digital work as well as my first color peice.
There, now I can say I accomplished something today! I need to learn how to relax during vacation >_<'. Stupid workaholic brain; Can I sleep now?
