I'm officially migrational
Jul. 30th, 2005 02:53 pmI'm typing this from my new house in STOCKTON!
Woo Hoo!
The move went smoothly. Steven and I unpacked my entire material life from the truck is approx. an hour. I've decided that working at that party rental place for years has made us far to efficient at unloading trucks.
It's been nice seeing Will (my temp roomate). Last night, Brandon, Nicole, Eli, Bryan, and DJ Robby Robb (That sounds so odd) came over for a house warming party. Good times were had, Margaritas were consumed, and I got some more milage out of that corvid foot shotglass. (Thank you
cass_rising).
The room itself is amazing. It equates to being a studio apartment attached to a house. I've managed to fit my bed, two couches, a dresser, a desk, and soon to be an engineering table, a jumbo beanbag, and a large coffee table into the space and it is still roomy. I'm planning to head out to Brentwood and pick up my video games and speakers. Upon returning, I will try to finish unpacking, start evaluating my ability to soundproof the room, and then head off to game or a rave, depending on how I am feeling.
I've spent the last month galavanting around the US, and it's nice to have a home base again.
I wish the best of luck to everything else who seems to be moving recently. May your migrations be as painless as mine.
