Today,

malaikawolfcat to the airport.
It's interesting how some people meet each other. When we first met, we were sharing a hotel room with a mutual friend and disliked each other. I thought she was weird, and she thought I was too intense. Years later, we're good friends. I haven't actually seen her in about three years, and it was as if no time had passed since the last time we were hanging out.
Even if we don't speak much on the internet, it's refreshing to see someone who you haven't seen in several years and immediately pick up where you left off. The last time we visited, we were in Vegas for her 21st birthday. I was going to college in Stockton, and she was working at a zoo in Oregon. Years pass, and now I'm working two part times jobs in Sacramento and she's trying to figure herself out in Texas. We are hardly the same people we were three years ago.
But after all those years, we immediately went back to watching Lost, drawing silly things, and hanging out in diners for hours talking about weird meaningless little things. It was refreshing.
See you in three years, Ashley. Let's see where we are by then.
