Nothing like going out to the groccery store at 3AM with a couple of friends.
After scouring WinCo in search of snack foods, we ended up with Ramen, Gansitos (Mexican chocholate-colored bread based suger filled goodies), Sour candy, Gummy Bears, Pepsi, Iced Tea, Milk, and White Bread. I particularly enjoyed the Gansitos. I havn't had any of those since my trip to Mexico a couple of years ago. If nothing else, their mascot, a goose kicking a soccer ball, is cute.
I'm not talking about any casual level of "cute" either, I'm refering to hardcore, cartoon puppies in a pillow fight-level cute. This is Gabby , Dingbat , or Twapa level cuteness. I'll post some pics later if I can find some.
Anyway, goose aside, the reason for this post is something my freind Kris said that stirred my brain juices. We were gallavanting around WinCo being a bit louder then we should have, and something happened. I don't recall if someone mentioned insects or if someone stepped on an insect, but Kris, who is normally a bit introverted, turned and said,
"Just because something is smaller than you does not give you the right to destroy it"
Maybe I'm just a hippie when it comes to preserving life, but this quote resounded truely to me. I just felt the need too share that comment and let you guys chew your thoughts for a while. Feel free to share your thoughts...after you wipe off the saliva.

...that's pretty tiny.
It's ok, though. I'm not very short, but I normally feel tiny since I hang out with people who are 6'5. Kris, the guy who I quoted, Is 6'6.
